Here in the UK we are already seeing people cancel appointments to have their AZ vaccine because of the action taken by European countries. It may be partly political because of ongoing bad feeling over the UK having millions more vaccines than the rest of Europe, but I would hope poliitcal leaders would not mess with people's lives like that. The stats on blood clots, even if proved true (they haven't been proven yet), are insignificant, and you are actually far more likely to develop blood clots if you get Covid. I received the AZ vaccine last week. I had five days of side effects (my partner had just half a day), but given the alternative of having Covid, I'd choose the vaccine any day.
