I believe the problem is far worse in the US than the UK, but the situation is generally the same - too much of the popular media is owned by billionaires with close links to the fossil fuel industry. It is pointless trying to change the thinking, writing and broadcasting of the right-wing media. The only way to fight back with truth is through social media - far more people connect on social chanels than through the traditional media. Don't report via the media, instead BE the media, join the channels of information. And I say that as an experienced journalist.
