Thank you for sharing this, but more than that, thank you and your fellow health professionals around the world for doing your best to save lives, often without the necessary protective equipment, working exhaustingly long hours, and against the backdrop of high profile politicians and others claiming that you were imagining the whole thing. A despicable and probably avoidable chapter in our history, and we're only making it through to the other side thanks to scientists and medical experts like yourself. Next time - because there will sadly be a next time - I hope we are all better prepared.
